FAQ

As a small, independent artist, I offer a personal packing and postage service. Please let me know where you are located and how quickly you would like your chosen work, and I will provide a quote. I will pack securely and post your selected picture and forward tracking details. This should arrive securely but if for any reason the picture is damaged, you will be entitled to a full refund.

I want you to be totally happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you change your mind when you receive your painting, please let me know so I can refund you. It is very important to me that you are happy with your selected picture. I arrange payment for the paintings via PayPal which I feel is best for both the buyer and seller. Once you have made your selection, email me and I will quote for postage, and once confirmed, I will provide an invoice for payment.

ARTIST AT WORK

When starting a painting, I normally chose a box canvas which I prepare with gesso, then acrylic Windsor and Newton paints. These paints are excellent for blending and give a nice depth and range to a painting. You may wish to have the painting varnished. Depending on your request, I can the varnish either with gloss or matt which can give the painting a nice sheen to enhance the colours and quote accordingly.

I also like to paint with Cotman Watercolours on 300g paper when I am after a more relaxed, softer look for my paintings. The colour blend and very soft impressions you can achieve with watercolours work particularly well with nature
